RWC v. Furth

< Back To Cases
Overview
The defendants applied for a home warranty to cover vast construction defects on a home built by their company.
The Focal Point's Role
The Focal Point collaborated with the attorneys of Kenney & Markowitz, helping to develop themes, graphics, and demonstratives showing the defects and damages to the house not disclosed by the defendants. The Focal Point's graphics helped the jury understand what was known about these defects prior to the warranty application and how false statements on the application obscured the true scope of the damage to the house.
Results
Residential Warranty Corporation (RWC) was awarded $1,164,880 in damages for intentional misrepresentation, false promise, and concealment on the part of the defendants.
