Airis Holdings LLC v. City and County of San Francisco, et al.
 
In 2002, The City of San Francisco and San Francisco International Airport entered into an Exclusive Negotiation Agreement (ENA) with Airis Holdings LLC to design and build a customized air cargo solution. Midway through the ENA, after Airis Holdings had invested millions in developing the project, the City and the Airport violated the terms of the contract and began pursuing alternative plans to develop the cargo facility. In response, The Focal Point’s client, Airis Holdings, sued The City and County of San Francisco claiming the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing during the Exclusive Negotiation Agreement had been violated, and won a unanimous verdict of $1 million.
 
 
 
Aventis v. Scotts Miracle-Gro
 
A New York City jury found in favor of Scotts Miracle-Gro in this antitrust and breach of contract matter with Aventis Environmental Health Science, saving the well-known, family-owned company from a potential $200 million in damages.

An arbitration panel in Dallas dismisses plaintiff's allegations regarding the acquisition of four diagnostic imaging centers.
 
 
 
Florida State Board of Administration v. Alliance Capital Management
 
A unanimous jury found in favor of Defendant Alliance Capital on all six claims made by the Florida State Board of Administration regarding alleged malpractice related to the purchase of Enron stock.
 
     
 
Gateway v. Mercury
 
A Los Angeles jury sided with The Focal Point's client and rejected the majority of the Plaintiff's claims related to the alleged stealing of employees. The jurors awarded the Plaintiff only $8 million, far less than was being sought. The court subsequently ordered the Plaintiff to pay the defendant's attorneys fees.
 
 
 
MAN AG v. Freightliner
 
The Focal Point worked with counsel to clarify case themes and theories and to create a cohesive, easily understood storyline that resulted in an award of $838 million in damages to German truck manufacturer, MAN AG.

A U.S. District Court rejected the government's antitrust challenge to the tender offer by Oracle Corporation to acquire PeopleSoft, Inc.
 
     
 
Unysis v. Accenture
 
The Focal Point worked with lead counsel Neil O'Donnell of Rogers Joseph O'Donnell to develop themes and graphics to help explain the contractual relationships and responsibilities involved in a complex government software consulting project.
 
 
 
Williamson v. AT&T Corp.
 
On May 4, 2005, AT&T agreed to pay $340 million and to release $60 million more in a settlement with AtHome Bondholders' Liquidating Trust.
