We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our growing headquarters in downtown Oakland.
Responsibilities:
Manages, prioritizes and schedules all of TFP’s production, trial support and on-site work, ensuring high efficiency and seamless coordination between the various offices and work locations. Coordinates and tracks corresponding travel.
Creates and oversees weekly production and artist schedules, working with case teams to ensure cases are well staffed to manage both quality and client satisfaction.
Works with case teams to ensure delivery deadlines are met.
Coordinates war room scheduling and support activity including communicating key deadlines and updates to the support departments and maintaining planning and checklist materials.
Manages contractor artists, including hiring, training, scheduling and performance coaching.
Schedules special staffing needs for case teams including swing shifts and weekend work.
Identifies production department needs and develops and manages corresponding solutions. Provides regular updates to the management team on department goals and accomplishments.
Acts as back up for Production Specialist duties.
 
We Are Looking For Someone With:
2-4 years’ prior experience managing and scheduling graphics production.
Knowledge of production processes and prior experience planning, executing and meeting deliverables in a production environment.
1-2 years’ prior experience supervising others.
Solid computer skills – MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) Windows operating system, file types (JPG, TIF, etc.), Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS3.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively as a team player.
Ability to plan, prioritize and adjust in a fast-paced, client service production environment.
