Trial tech services from preparation to presentation.
Our trial technology specialists do more than just show up at trial and push buttons—they are trial presentation experts who will help your team prepare for trial well before it starts. They will work with your in-house litigation support team to ensure that your exhibits and video depositions are ready for trial. They actively offer suggestions at every stage of trial, from how to best scan your documents, to how to best designate and review video depositions, to what equipment to use at trial and how to set it up.
Our in-house trial technology specialists and elite preferred contractors have each worked on over 50 trials, including arbitrations, Markman hearings, and focus groups. They know from experience that these presentations require flexibility, responsiveness, and the ability to work on the fly. In other words, they know you can’t prepare for everything. Having one of our techs on your trial team means having less to worry about: if the equipment fails, if the judge rules against portions of your video designations, if you have to change the order of your graphics right before you give your presentation—they can handle it, because they’ve done it all before.
Our technicians work seamlessly with our case managers and graphic designers, making your trial support more efficient. They speak the same language and use the same systems, allowing us to smoothly work together when trial gets tough. During trial, our technicians keep the rest of the team informed about events that could affect future graphics and strategy. Most of all, we trust that our trial technicians offer the best chance for your graphics and evidence to get put up on the screen for the jury to see, when you need them to see it.
Our trial tech services include:
Digital evidence consultation—Well before trial, we can advise your trial support team on the best file formats for exhibits, videos, animations, and other evidence, and offer recommendations for how to prepare it so that it’s ready for trial.
Trial database creation—We are experts at building and maintaining TrialDirector and Sanction databases. This ensures that your digital evidence is easy to find and—most importantly—show at trial.
Video clip review and creation—We can quickly create PDF transcripts of your designations and return them to you so you can see and edit exactly what you have. Then, if changes have been made, we can edit the deposition clips and export them for your review. We can also make last-minute changes to your clips at trial, or create new impeachment clips on the fly.
Document and graphic display—When in court, we can easily bring up any document or graphic, simply by typing in its name. Rehearsal and preparation is not always possible, and we can we can highlight and blow up documents on the fly, maximizing your time and ability to be responsive to the ever-changing events of litigation.
Equipment rental and setup—We can advise what equipment you will need for trial, and can coordinate its setup with the court. We can also troubleshoot any equipment problems that may arise, and help ensure it works throughout the trial.
